In this dissertation, fuzzy control theory application on automotive anti-lock system is studied, based on combination of automotive theory and fuzzy control theory.After geting at shortcoming of previous general fuzzy control method,improvement and development are done,and simulation.Firstly, so vehicle dynamics models,mathematical models of tire and detent are discussed and studied. Based on these models, considering the study need and condition, and the tire dominated vertical damp, an unprecedented single tire vehicle model, which is applicable for the simulation of the vehicle straightaway braking process has been established. Secondly the ABS model of the vehicle straightaway braking process is developed with Matlab software and Simulink module. And then the basic fuzzy logic controller is process of single tire vehicle models is designed. the simulation of the braking carried out: one proves the correctness of the basic fuzzy logic controller with the quarter-vehicle model. Based on the wheel slipr atio of ABS.Given vehicle speed and wheel speed, the wheel slip ratio is computed the error and error change ratio of slip ratio so btained by given referring slip raito,which is the input, and braking pressure is the output of fuzzy control which comprises of input fuzzy.Fuzzy reasoning fuzzy policy output inverse fuzzy in fuzzy reasoning, a formulation is obtained based on general fuzzy reasoning,diferent adaptive factor to modify taking care of diferent error.It's proved by the simulation result that, the fuzzy logic model controller adapts the change to the grand crutch force well, which is good during the brake process.
