Study On The Stability Of Full Trailer Combination Vehicle In Braking

With the rapid development of modern construction,the improvement in the national highway network to the use of combination vehicle has brought convenience and enhance the efficiency of the logistics. However,the ensuing security problems can not be ignored,combination vehicle accidents happen because of its harmful,in recent years more and more attention. Most of the accidents which are related to the braking of the combination vehicle. When the combination vehicle braking because of interference by the lateral take place braking instability phenomenon easily,such as jack-knifing,this will seriously affect road safety. So the research on the stability of combination vehicle is very necessary.This paper introduces the anti-lock braking system (ABS)'s history of the development,structure,working principle and application in the combination vehicle. Analysis of the force to the full vehicle when the braking and using of "Uniform Tire" model train set up the mathematical model of the force to the full vehicle at the time of the braking. Study for a certain type of full trailer combination vehicle,through the Matlab/ Simulink software,set up the dynamics simulation model and anti-lock brake control model of combination vehicle.the full trailer combination vehicle is not installed or installed ABS,at two conditions roads of high attachment coefficient and off attachment coefficient road,for two straight-line braking simulation. Advance a anti-lock braking control manner which logic threshold control based on the aim slip rate for the full trailer combination vehicle,analysis and comparison of the combination vehicle installation and not installed with the ABS braking system,simulation results show that the control is feasible. It could effectively prevent the wheels of the axles from locking when the combination vehicle braking; adjust establish time of tractor and trailer brake pressure,makes the brake strength of tractor and trailer be harmonic,the entire braking process of the combination vehicle has a"pull straight"role ,significantly improve the stability of the combination vehicle brake. Makes brake instability situation rate down such as jack-knifing.
