The Sound Source Identification Of Beamforming Based On NI

Beamforming method based on microphone array is one of the most important methods in the sound source identification. Its principle is identifying the sound source by delay time of receiving sound by microphone and the position of microphones. It is widely used in the space technology, automobile industry, material science, and so on.Firstly, through studying the basis of sound source identification of beamforming, delay-sum beamforming and multiple signal classification (MUSIC) is being on research, and the simulation results of both algorithms were compared. Secondly, the development of instruments, virtual instrument technology and LabVEIW software were briefly reviewed. Based on the LabVEIW and NI, sound source identification system including hardware and software is developed. Finally, this system is used on speaker, and the accurate acoustic characteristics occur.
