ABSTRACT:This paper introduces the structure and the force performance of absorber firstly,and then the quasi-static tests of absorber are made,and lastly through the finite element software ANSYS,seismic response characteristics of simply supported beam bridge with absorber are analysised systematically,detailed work is as follows:First of all,the paper introduces the structure of absorber and analysis its extension. Concluded by analysis,when designing the absorber,the form of variable cross-section is recommended and circular and rectangular cross-section have better ductility properties than others.Besides,if designed as the same intensity beam,the ductility properties of absorber will be better.Secondly,the test part studied the hysteretic behavior of absorbers under the low-cycle load.The results showed that:absorber under the low-cycle load has good ductility and energy dissipation capacity,and it has greater stiffness in the elastic stage that is consistent with our requirements to absorber.Finally,though the finite element software ANSYS,the solid models of simply supported beam bridge with absorber are built.By numerical calculation,the seismic responses of simply supported beam bridge with absorber and without absorber are compared,which proved that absorber is effective to the seismic response of simply supported beam bridge.Then it analyses the seismic response effection of simply supported beam bridge with absorber under the different seismic waves and the different responses in different pier heights or in different beam spans.Finally it analyses the the dynamic response characteristics of absorber under the earthquake,and results showed that absorber under the earthquake has better ductility and hysteretic behavior.There are 70 figures,19 tables,58 reference in this paper.
