Steel Reinforced Concrete is a new structure system developed from steel structure and concrete structure.It is widely used in high-rise buildings for favorable seismic behavior and mechanical behaviors.SRC columns under biaxial eccentric compression are important elements in high-rise SRC building in earthquake areas,failure features of SRC columns under biaxial eccentric compression are complicated.However,till this day,there is no uniform way of sloving this problem in China.In order to search for a relative simple method to solve bearing capacity in normal section of SRC columns under biaxial eccentric compression,the SRC columns under biaxial eccentric compression must be studied further.Firstly,the author elaborates on the existing situation of research on SRC columns under biaxial eccentric compression,and based on the position of research on SRC columns,the research target of the paper is determined Then according to the experimental results of the 25 specimens, bearing capacity in normal section of SRC columns under biaxial eccentric compression is calculated in nonlinear way by finite element program ANSYS.Compare the ultimate load gained by the test and calculated by the finite element program,and accuracy of finite element program calculated ultimate bearing capacity of SRC columns under biaxial eccentric compression is discussed.Based on the above analysis,the factors such as slendemess ratio,relative eccentricity and so on,which affect the bearing capacity of SRC columns under biaxial eccentric compression, are analyzed.Varying patterns of ultimate bearing capacity of SRC columns under biaxial eccentric compression in different factors are discussed,and SRC column with cross steel section is analyzed by nonlinear finite element program.Comparing ultimate bearing capacity analyzed by test and calculated by formula of Chinese current code,so we can discuss the accuracy of the formula in the code.Based on the tests,a relative simple method on bearing capacity in normal section of SRC columns under biaxial eccentric compression is proposed,and suitable range of formula is proved.This paper will be helpful to the further researches and on the engineering design of the SRC columns under biaxial eccentric compression.
