Exploration And Inheritance Of Traditional Context In Guanzhong Region

At present,the wave of the world civilization that take the global economy, information and technology integration as the main features is sweeping the globe.When people is shareing the achievements of global culture and technological,its own local characteristics and cultural connotation were increasingly receding.Our city, the environment and the building is going through a "vacuum" of context and the pale phase of culture:A lot of traditional buildings with local characteristics have been pushed onto the ground,buried and replaced by modern high-rise buildings because of being considered incompatible with the economic and social development,the city lost its traditional culture and local characteristics of accumulation,The glorious traditional cultural ideology and Architecture thought of The Chinese nation has lost it's place.therefore,the first thing we have to do is to explore a appropriate architecture forms that not only inherit the style and texture and spirit connotation of traditional architecture,but also meet the functional requirements of modern architecture.Combined with many field research of regional residential and the specific examples of Qujiang Folk Commercial Street design,the paper has analyzed and explored how to inherit the style and texture of traditional residential and the essence of architecture forms,as well as how to make the historical of architecture and new buildings that inherited the history and tradition harmonious coexistence to form the unique local architectural overall outlook.The design would be mainly considered from the next four aspects:The first is the continuation of the texture of traditional residential.The characteristic of the texture and style of many traditional settlement have been analysed and summarized in order to organize the layout of the program.The second is succeed the original residential settlement's corresponding proportion and scale and spatial distribution characteristics that made of site,street and courtyard.The third is the protection of original residential building.To ensure that the original features of residential do not damaged,and avoided the hollow trend of protection object.The fourth is re-use.To study how to make the traditional space such as street,alley and courtyard to adapt to the modern commercial activities,so that have not only the historical and cultural value but also can bring about a certain commercial value.Based on the study of the actual project,the paper not only explored the protection pattern of the traditional context in Guanzhong region,and also summarized the relevant content of modern inheritance of traditional context.There is some methods we have obtained:The first thing we should do to inherit the traditional context of residential is succeed the unique style and texture of it,and then give it a modern interpretation of it's space and environment.The refining and reconstruction of architecture forms and symbols are the key factors to embody the details,we should take it more seriously. Resulting from the macro to the micro-system to form a transmission system,then effectively protect and inherit the traditional architecture and it's context.
