| General Hospital as a rehabilitation of medical institutions,its outdoor space is an extension of interior space.The hospital environment,is an environment that the hospital medical staff have to pass,but also the only place patients do outdoor activities. Its service object,character,purpose,function and other sides is different from ordinary public place.The paper has divided the hospital outdoor landscape into three parts:the traffic landscape,green planting system landscape,outdoor space landscape.The traffic landscape is divided into inter-hospital transport organizations,the road landscape, parking place;green planting system landscape is divided into the functions of plant cultivation,plant selection,configuration principles and the building health-based plant community;outdoor space landscape systems,which is the main part of the paper, includes various spatial environment design of the hospital inner functions,such as the main entrance to the transition space landscape,door and vestibular emergency department landscape,hospital green areas for recreation,roof garden landscape. Chapter V put forward suggestions on outdoor venues and facilities decoration in detail.The paper mainly bases on the environment behavioral psychology and attempts to take gardening,landscape,aesthetics and design of external space as the theory foundation,combine the physical environment and non-material environment together, analyzes the general hospital external Spaces user's behaviors,psychological problems, as well as outdoor contacting space types,characters,the influencing factors and focus on exploring the corresponding basic requirements,design strategy and specific design ways.And the paper tries to create high-quality landscape design for general hospital, which services for special groups of the outdoor environment.
