The basic principle of Four-wheel steering (Four Wheel Steering, referred to 4WS) is to use some traffic information to control the input of the rear corner, in order to improve the vehicles'maneuverability and stability. The technology of 4ws can reduce the the turning radius when the car is in low speed so as to a more flexible shift and at the same time a convenient parking when the four-wheel steering turning, it can also improve the active safety and the handle stability when the vehicle in high speed which can make better steering control and stability than the front wheel steering ( Front Wheel Steering, referred to as FWS) , the practical application of this technology is always a goal pursued by researchers.In this paper, the control of four-wheel steering motor vehicles is proposed based on fuzzy theory and technology to determine the ideal control program, which contains many control strategies of the four-wheel steering mode. According to front-wheel angle, speed, speed ratio and other status parameters, etc., we can achieve the best automotive yaw angular velocity, centroid angle and vehicle lateral inclination by controlling the rear wheel corner. We can choose the appropriate control mode, and determine the optimal control strategy by analysing the fuzzy selector of vehicles'steering characteristics under different conditions . Using MATLAB / simulink software simulation analysis, the digital simulation results show that the use of multi-mode control method can meet the optimal control request when the four-wheel steering vehicles under different conditions and the better control effect. In order to verify the feasibility of the control program and control effects of the design in this paper, we can create a four-wheel steering model car instead of real vehicle in test, in this paper we will design hardware circuit of the model car'control system and selecte the DSP as a core devices of the digital controller, make use of motor driver chip to control the DC motor rotation to achieve the running the of four-wheel steering model cars ,and at the same time applicate the CC1110FX radio frequency chip to fulfill the functions of wireless control. Finally complete the design of software by the application of the CC2000 control software.
