In order to speed up the process of urbanization in China,urban gas transmission and distribution system has been developing vigorously in recent years.Urban gas network usually plays an important role in urban gas distribution system.Because of invested largely and a lot of aspects involved in construction,it is necessary to design for urban gas network in precedence.If the design for urban gas network is reasonable,not only the requirement of gas supply for urban people can be ensured, but the investment of construction of gas network can be reduced effectively,so as to a lot of human and material and financial resources can be saved,providing remarkable economic and social benefits.In the practical application of engineering,in order to enhance the reliability of urban gas network,most of them are designed into ring.However,until today,the design for them is still staying in the stage of mainly selecting tree gas network as the studying subject.Studying for ring gas network is relatively less and lower,which limits the optimization techniques applied into application of engineering to some extent.Thinking of this problem,the author selects the ring gas network as studying object.Based on previous studies,the author proposes her own optimization method, in order to reach the optimized effect from the whole for gas network as much as possible,and make the optimized results closer to the practical application of engineering.In the area of optimization of layout of gas network,it is always difficult to combine optimization of layout of pipelines and pipeline parameters.In the light of this puzzle,the author proposes a new method in this paper,which is that after making out the optimized layout of urban tree gas network,adding pipelines in accordance with certain rules to obtain the optimized layout of ring gas network,At the some time its economic and hydraulic reliability must be ensuerd.The specific method is as follows:first,selecting the tree gas network as the studying subject,and establishing a mathematical model,based on the optimized object which is that minimizing the total length of the whole gas network;second,using genetic algorithm to solve it in order to abtain a group of optimized design programs of layout of tree gas network;third,calculating the diameter of each pipeline in each programs,and selecting economic diameters by up and down,so as to determine optimized design programs of layout of tree gas network completely;forth,after that,adding some pipelines in accordance with certain rules,and verifying their hydraulic reliability. Then the final design programs of ring gas network meeting the economic and hydraulic requirements can be obtained.Through analysis and calculation for the example of design of layout optimization of urban gas network in a medium-sized city,the example demonstrates that the proposed optimized models and algorithms of ring gas network in this paper can meet economic and hydraulic reliability requirements,and at the same time verifies the feasibility and superiority of the method proposed above in this paper, supplying some reference value for the study of optimized design of urban gas network.
