In order to achieve large-scale quadrupole nuclear power turbo-generator made in homeland.The FEM general software for four-poles synchronous generator is completed through improving the pre-treatment process of existing finite element program,by which the non-linear characteristics between a certain million kilowatts nuclear power quadrupole turbo-generator and 10kW model generator was analyzed directly.The result shows that the similar nonlinear characteristics curves can be obtained by comparing the two and four poles turbo-generator.Then the influence of the different structure on operating performance is studied under no-load and full-load conditions,and it is found that the performance can be improved by adopting some specific structure,such as different rotor slot depth and unequal cross sectional area in each layer of stator winding.This article provides a theoretical reference for design and research work of large-scale quadrupole nuclear power generators.
