Two phase flow, which is distributed in the header,is widely existed in many industries such as nuclear industry, boilers industry, petrochemical industry and the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration industry. The uniform coefficient in parallel multi-branch header system, which as an imperative work unit in the power plant boiler, has great effects on heat deviations. And also,it has great effects on the safe operation of boiler. An experimental investigation and theoretical analysis was conducted to study the two-phase distribution in a horizontal header with two inlet turrets inthis article. And it is a new kind of header which used in power station boiler. The data show that there are many factors such as the geometric bodies, inlet flow rates and inlet quality have effects on the flow nonuniform coefficient in parallel multi-branch header system. Also,a mathematical model which focused on the test section is set up for forecasting the flow distribution of other similar heads. The mathematical model, which is consistent with experiment data, has a contrast with the model which set up by Masahiro Osakabe and comes to an excellent result. Therefore,it proves the correctness of the mathematical model. This paper showed guiding significance of engineering practice.
