Solid flow measurements wide range of applications in industrial measurement. How to get high precision flow results though non-contact measurements is a challenging topic. This article introduces a system of solid flow measurement based on LabVIEW which has graphical development platform. Than finish the system which is designed by LabVIEW using DSP TMS320LF2407A that is good at data processing.At first, Doppler reflected signal is acquired using NI PCI-6251 data-acquisition card. The average velocity could be calculated by the signal processing analysis and the power spectral density can be calculated by correlation analysis. According to some former data about solid mass flow and power spectral density, a linear relationship can be established between both elements. Then the solid mass flow can be calculated through the linear relationship and the power spectral density. Finally the experiments prove that the design is good at solid mass flow measurement. And the functions which designed by LabVIEW is achieved by DSP. Data acquisition is finished by AD-built modules of DSP. Write filter, FFT and display Programming using C and Assembly Language mixed. Than Showing the speed and velocity though the LCD Screen.This article includes:1. The design of Experimental devices.2. Principles of digital signal processing.3. The design of system by LabVIEW and the results of system test.4. The programming of DSP and test results.Experiments prove that the system has high real-time capability and good operability. And it has practical application significance of solid mass flow measurement.
