As the rapid development of automobile industry and the sustained increase of the world automobile inventory, the air pollution is day by day serous because of the harmful automobile discharges. The development of internal combustion engine is being near the huge challenge. Moreover, the world oil resources dry up day by day. The restriction of oil and the worsening of atmospheric environment has been the major issue of influence state economy development and the people life quality. In order to solve the problem of air pollution because of the automobile and the strait energy question day by day., the world various countries develops the alternate fuel automobile vigorously while formulating each kind of strict vehicle emissions laws and regulations. And, as one new clean fuel, the DME is especially noticeable. The test result on diesel engine indicated that, by DME the diesel engine could ran highly effective, with ultra low emission and smokeless combustion.At present, the application of DME on diesel engine is also at the research stage. There-for researching the diesel engine's combustion performance by mixing DME has the guiding sense regarding the development and optimized diesel engine. This article elaborated three dimensional mathematical models and the numerical calculus method in systematically the cylinder's working process. And using FIRE rooting AVL in Austrian, established the geometric model and divided grid and generated mesh to ZS1100' diesel engine, And confirmed the selected computation model. Then under different mixing plan for diesel oil and DME, computed the in-cylinder working processes, which include two-phase flow process and combustion process.Though comparing the simulation result. It is discovered that, the pressure and temperature have great degree reduction in cylinder by mixing DME in diesel. The engine's combustion is gentler than by diesel, and delay period is reduced. As increasing DME, the diesel engine's emission has distinct improvement, also NOx and soot emission drops. It is concluded that, the diesel engine with diesel and DME have the follow two aspect important aspect: First, it displayed at a influential role as a substituted fuel, and it could alleviate the energy crisis in a certain extent; The second, as a clean fuel, it can reduce diesel engine's emission greatly and reduce the environment pollution in very vital significance.
