Based on the engineering background of liquid-propellant rocket engines, the characteristics of circle series pulse electrical ignition for liquid propellant spray have been researched in this dissertation. The main points are stated as following:Firstly, a new ignition equipment-circle series pulse electrical ignition equipment is designed, and its static properties are researched by experiments.Secondly, a spray equipment for liquid propellant is designed, with which the spray characteristics of HAN-based liquid propellant are researched under different conditions; the property SMD of liquid propellant LP1846 spray droplet is calculated using experiment fitting formula; a multiphase theoretical model for jet brokenup and spray is developed, and its spray properties are researched by numerical simulation.Thirdly, an experimental platform of circle pulse electrical ignition for liquid propellant spray is set up, and the pulse electrical ignition properties for liquid propellant LP1846 spray are researched under different conditions.Then, a circle pulse electrical ignition system based on sequential circuits is designed, and its working principle is researched.Last, based on above experiments, a simplified combustion calculation model of spray droplet under forced convection has been developed, and the minimum ignition energy of LP1846 droplet is estimated, the results show that the ignition equipment we design is reasonable and feasible.
