Abstract/Summary:
After the use of a certain number of years , the pavement performance will be decreased, when the use of performance can not meet the specifications, the road needs maintenance, alteration or renovation. Methods based on past experience, the general idea is in the original laying a layer of new asphalt mixture on the top of the road to give Overlay to remove the old asphalt pavement or materials at the same time to throw away the old asphalt mixture, and then laying a new layer of mixture. This approach not only destroyed the original structure of the road, but also caused a great deal of waste of resources, on the natural environment will also cause serious pollution. Based on the above factors, in situ thermal renewable technology is as a kind of asphalt pavement maintenance methods of regeneration, economic and social benefits from the point of view, no doubt it shows a huge market need.In this paper, based on Hainan project which is a renewable technology research projects, working on indoor asphalt mixture design with a number of issues to explore and make a research.First of all, this paper, complex mixed-type section of the old ordinary asphalt mixture performance is detected an accurate determination of the old asphalt pavement materials, including extraction of oil recovered to determine the aggregate screening and determination of the aging properties of asphalt.Secondly, the above findings as a guide, through the use of SB-1, OP-900 on two renewable reconcile asphalt aging test results show that the two agents will be able to make renewable sources of asphalt rheological properties of aging to some extent recovery, mainly reflected in the large penetration,softening point lower,ductility increases, in which OP-900 over SB-1 to clear the regeneration。In situ thermal regeneration to the Marshall mix design method, based on the use of orthogonal analysis of variance optimization and the method of regeneration temperature, blending the old material the ratio of the proportion of renewable blending agent to optimize the three factors, by the three In the optimal combination of factors. Orthogonal to the results of the guidance of the old material for a mixing ratio of blending different types of new material, Marshall and France used to be three different gradation of the best oil content.Then, the mixture of recycled asphalt material blending the old with the changes in the proportion of the old law and the same proportion of materials doped with different gradation of the renewable material have been developed a series of road test studies, including: rutting test, Splitting Test freezing, low temperature split test. Considering the 85 percent come to the old material as well as the blending ratio of the intermediate distribution (B) two types of recyclable materials will not only meet the general HMA's technical standards, than compared to the same type to take advantage of the renewable material.Finally, we have done a series of the indoor and on–site testing of the asphalt concrete regeneration pavement of the complex mixed-type section,test results validate the regeneration of the old asphalt mixture of asphalt pavement to improve the effectiveness.
