Circular hole castellated steel-concrete composite beams are members which are made up of the circular hole castellated beams and the concrete slabs working together by shear connectors. Because the method of circular hole castellated beams is dislocation welding after steel is gas-cutted, the dimensions should be satisfied some formulations. With reference to the research methods and results gotten by other relative research on normal composite beams, castellated steel-concrete composite beams and non-continuous web opening composite beams, this paper has carried out research on the circular hole castellated steel-concrete composite beams. The main work included:The simplified formulas for computing the strength of circular hole castellated composite beams with stiffened webs are deduced based on the vierendeel truss theory. Then an illustration was presented in this paper. Compared with the results of ANSYS software, formulas proposed in this article are testified to be reasonable. Stiffened webs are testified to improve the strength of circular hole castellated composite beams. Authentication to the hypothesis of simplified theory by ANSYS software, the hypothesis is different from reality, but simplified theory is feasible to computer location and value of max strength in circular hole castellated composite beams. Distribution law of interface slip shear in circular hole castellated composite beams is researched, then some advices about shear connector and transverse reinforcement are given. In order to prevent destroyed early, referenced the result of ANSYS software, some advices about layout of reinforcement in concrete slabs are given. Base on the vierendeel truss theory, the expansion ration, opening eccentricity and stiffened webs in circular hole castellated composite beams are contrast calculation, and some suggestions are given. Used some relational results of circular hole castellated beams, a formula for computing the deflection by second moment is deduced. This is supplemented to existing literature. The deflection of 30 circular hole castellated composite beams are calculation by ANSYS software, then the deflection expanded ration is deduced which fitted this result. At last , 9 circular hole castellated composite beams which is different from each other are calculated by the deflection expanded ration, compared with the results of ANSYS software, the deflection expanded ration are testified to be correct.
