Abstract/Summary:
The Strapdown guidance system is the inertial navigation system that fixs the inertial sensor to the transporting species, so it does not need the steady platform.The emergence and development of strapdown inertial technology represent a new direction of modern inertial technology, and now fiber optic gyro inertial navigation system has become a hot research about inertial technology. This system is small and requires large amounts of data real-time solution, and all signal processing realizes in the computer. According to the above features and system requirements, this article proposes the plan of designing the fiber optic gyro strapdown embedded navigation computer system with FPGA. It has many merits as follows: short development cycle, low cost, can be erased and programmable repeatedly so it has become the trend of contemporary electronic design development.First, the paper designs the guidance computer's hardware board, and provides the disposition and the memory circuit, analog signals gathering, correspondence connection and power supply for the FPGA. Among them the design of guidance computer's hardware based on the FPGA is this article's key point. Then this paper has also studied embedded software's structure and the load method. At last we carry on the software and hardware union debugging of the system, and analysis the data obtained from the experiment.The debugging and testing result show that system's software and hardware work reliably and the FPGA navigation computer realizes the basic function of strapdown inertial navigation system with small size and high performance.
