Dry-mixed self-compacting concrete (HPSCC) was one of self-compacting concretes (SCC). It was composed of cement, coarse aggregate and sand of high strength and some cement replacement materials that was well-performing concrete with the good performance of fluidity, anti-segregation, tiny inflation and had the better crack resistance. Workabilit yand basic mechanical properties of simply supported beam properties of HPSCC were studied on experimental method. Then engineering application of HPSCC was introduced through exmples. The following research works were done:(1) The various working-performances of HPSCC were investigated according to Guide to Design and Construction of Self-Compacting Concrete (CCES02-2004).(2) Cubical compressive strength, axial compressive strength and splitting strength of HPSCC were studied with water rates and coarse aggregate ratios as change parameters and their effect were analysed. The results showed that the water rates were main factors to compressive strength of HPSCC; the compressive strength of HPSCC generally increased with coarse aggregate ratio when coarse aggregate ratio was suitable.(3) Modulus of elasticity of HPSCC was tested. The test results indicated that the elastic modulus of HPSCC were lower while fc/fcu were higher than that of normal concrete.(4) According to the examples, the HPSCC application was introduced. The results showed that the HPSCC will have broad application prospects.
