The frame is the most important part of carrier truck, the major units and the assemblies fix its position through the frame. In addition, the exploitation condition of carrier truck is extremely bad, and stress condition is also complex. Thoroughly understood of the load-supporting characteristics of the frame is the foundation, which the frame structural design improves and optimizes, and also is the key that guarantees the entire vehicle performance. Therefore, how to design the light-weight frame that meet usage requirements becomes a challenging job.Along with the development of computer hardware and technology, the finite element analysis(FEA)method has been the important tools of numerical value research of the static and dynamic of the frame. FEA, its advantage lies in improving the quality of car products in the market. In order to improve the level of frame designation guarantee the competitive ability of the entire vehicle in the market , we must heighten the FEA technique of the frame to a strategic level.Research on Lightweight for truck frame Based on Sensitivity Analysis is an important part of this paper .First of all, the article has set up model of the frame structure based on HyperWorks. Secondly, the static intensity of the frame is analyzed and studied the intensity of the frame in the instance of the bend and the torsion. Thirdly, it carries on further investigation on static and dynamic analysis, Identified the model is correct. Finally, we got a light-weighted project through sensitivity analysis methods. The lightened weight of this frame is about 240kg and the improved frame met requirements.Structural topology optimization method is also an important focus on this article. The method is a newly developing technique and has achieved remarkable success.Firstly,3D topology optimization model was built according to the trim size and constraints in the paper. Secondly, carry out several topology optimizations on this model base on the method of changing density. Finally, we got the optimize model in HyperWorks. |
