In this article, the way of synthesizing vibration detection based on order analysis and the noise detection based on vibration velocity method is determined after analyzing and comparing comprehensive different methods of vibration detection and noise detection, the on-line quality inspect and testing for the main reducer is done to display the type and location of failure, and it's can provide data to fed the information back into the statistical process control by collection records on high-speed data for increasing the quality of assembly and improving the assembly process.First of all, the meaning of the on-line measurement for main reducer is introduced and the situation of the development on vibration detection and noise detection home and abroad is analyzed and summarize in the article. Subsequently, the main factors that make motorcar main reducer arises vibration and noise is analyzed, and the structure of the main reducer and generation mechanism of noise is studied minutely, and then the relationship between surface vibration of motorcar main reducer and noise rooted on radiation is analyzed in order to demonstrate the relationship between vibration and noise.Subsequently, the various methods of dealing with the signal of vibration detection and the coupling theory based on the shell structure are analyzed ,and the method that measuring the overall operation-noise of the main reducer by measuring the typical vibration measuring points on the radiant surface is put forward. The each theory and components of the hardware and software of the vibration detection system which based on order analysis and the noise detection system which based on vibration velocity method are also introduced in this article. The installation locations of the sensors of the noise detection system are studied, and not only the modal analysis for shell of the main reducer but also a number of experiments to verify the correctness of the sensor were done.Finally, the case that the vibration detection system and the noise detection system is used in locale of producing motorcar main reducer is introduced, and the results showed that the methods of vibration detection based on order analysis and the noise detection based on vibration velocity method is correct. At the same time, the system deals with test results in the method of mathematical statistics and judge correctly the quality of out of control and causes in order to provide reliable scientific data for adjusting process equipment and improving product design.
