The development of modern motor control demands improvement of performance, reduction of the loss and decrease in the cost. On the other hand, qualifications and hard special applications system demands are raised. Therefore, research of integrated design for controller based on EDA technique and CPLD/FPGA device, which makes use of modern control theory, is one of the great directions of the development of motor control field. Not only is it of academic significance, it is of great economical and strategically significance as well. It will be popular for both military and civil use.on the basis of the Mathematical model of permanent magnetic synchronous motor and the theory of vector control, a digital motor control system realized on one chip FPGA, has been designed in this thesis. The implementation of functional modules, such as position measurement, PI regulator, vector transformation, SVPWM and communication is proposed. Meanwhile, designs of some peripheral interfaces are given. Thus a one-chip motor controller is carried out. Simulations and experimental analyses are carried on. To save the chip resource, thoughts of time-sharing and are applied in the design of sine look up table unit and duty ration calculating unit. The experimental result is given at last. This system completes the vector control algorithm,and it also can be applied as part of a Position control systemThe project uses "Top-down" technology to develop core by dividing system according to it's function. At first, design and simulate on single module, secondly, on the whole system, at last verification using FPGA. The results proved the design scheme is reliable and perfect on function.
