| By using the extension project of Jiamusi-Harbin section of Tong-San Expressway, the paper analyzed the mechanism of slope protected by plants from Mechanical and hydrological, introduced the function of slope protected by plants, summed up the slope protection methods, discussed the effect of the moisture content and plant roots to slope instability, explored the application of plant protection technology in the northeastern region.By using home-made shear apparatus, which has the same principle with direct shear apparatus, outdoor shear test was conducted. By comparison study of shear strength in the slope with the presence and absence of plant roots, The anchor role of plant roots to the slope was quantitatively assessed, and was proved by field test data, field test data show that plant roots system can reinforced the slope ,the plant deep roots can also provide anchorage effect, and different root systems have different time in the failure process.Whether amorpha or lespedeza was used as slope-protecting plants, the soil moisture within the depth of 100 cm gradually reduced with the time passing, mainly due to the evaporation of surface soil moisture, and root system sucking function and migration of water to freeze district in winter. The soil temperature is gradually increased; the main reason was the evaporation of plant roots.Dry density of the soil has little effect on shear strength of soil body. Soil cohesion has direct ratio relations with the soil moisture, when the soil moisture is less than 15%. Soil cohesion was inversely proportional to the soil moisture, when the soil moisture is more than 15%.soil internal friction angle was inversely proportional to the soil moisture. |
