As been exposed to the nature,bridge are affected by some climate factors,such as atmospheric temperature,sunshine and others.These factors change the structure of the bridge and generate temperature stress for temperature change or uneven distribution of the temperature.Sometimes the temperature stress value can reach even more than the stress value of dead load or live load and affect the carrying capacity of the bridge.This paper targets as Suifenhe concrete cable-stayed bridge box girder and analyzed the temperature effect of box girder.Suifenhe cable-stayed bridge was designed with concrete box girder forms because temperature field and the box girder section types is close relationship.Concrete box girder' summer temperature field begun with monitor the atmospheric temperature by comprehensive temperature way and computed the distribution of summer temperature field of normal section with software ANSYS through applying temperature load to box girder normal section and analyzing the distribution of temperature in winter of box girder by experiment.The distribution temperature stress of Suifenhe cable-stayed bridge box girder was analyzed by coupling method and applied temperature load to computer model by temperature field and computed the temperature stress of concrete box girder.Computed the expansion amount of concrete box girder for temperature according to the measured data of Suifebhe cable-stayed bridge's cable tension in winter and summer and found finite element model of the bridge and set up reference temperature and temperature load and applied these the bridge model.Displaying by computing and experiment:the temperature gradient of Suifenhe cable-stayed bridge concrete box girder is higher in summer more than winter; there are negative temperature gradient in winter;the effect of heat insulation of asphalt layer is limited;temperature stress lies in surface of concrete structure and the acute angle of juncture side web plate with upper plate;the cable tension increased when the temperature low down;the expansion amount of concrete box girder is higher more than dinary concrete beam bridge.
