With the development of modern shipbuilding technology, the requirement for reliable ship power management system is more and more necessary. Therefore, controlling, monitoringand follow-up managing of ship power are more and more important. Based on the sufficient research and analysis on current domestic and overseas ship auto-control equipment, I designed a total distributed ship power management system by using the programmable controller, advanced industrial controlling technology and computer technology.The ship power management system is composed of an operating station computer and three slave computers. Master computer (operation station computer) is composed of an industrial PC with Windows XP as the operating system. Using graphical user interface, master computer has data capturing, displaying, recording and relevant data enquiring functions.Every slave computer, cored by Siemens S7- 300 PLC, controls a generator independently. Slave computers have data detection and data control function. We designed the program of PLC by using the Siemens' program software (Step7) to realize the surveillance function of the ship power station. Auto-start module, automatic quasi-synchronous parallel operation module, automatic frequency and load regulation module, automatic parallel off module and automatic-stop module are designed.The master computer and slave computers are communicating through the software of Simatic Net, Step 7 and WinCC and Profibus field-bus. Acording to the control function and operation rules of ship power management system, this paper has designed the monitoring software of PC, using the configuration software WinCC.Finally, the simulation test verifies the reliability and economic effect of the total distributed ship power management system based on the programmable controller. |
