Water shortage is an important factor that restricts the socio-economic development and the reconstruction of ecological environment of Chongqing.In Chongqing Karst mountain area,the development and utilization of the surface water resources is very limited.On that premise,it is very important to study rainwater resources to resolving the drought and water shortage,to increase agricultural productivity and to reconstruction of the ecological environment.In this paper,the following questions to explore in depth:(1) Through the analysis of the resources and the environment of Mudu River Basin, educing the following conclusion.Firstly,rainfall in Mudu river basin meets the demand of rainfall availability.Secondly,this region has abundantly theoretical basis and practical experience.Last but not least important,the technology of rainfall resource availability not only increase both production and income,but also has regional predominance clearly,and can't solicit the ecological and environmental problem in the large.So the study determines the feasibility of rainfall resource availability in Mudu river basin.(2)The paper presents the concepts and calculating formulas of theoretical and accessible and realistic potential of rainfall resource availability,and suggests three important modes of rainfall availability,which including the ways of rainfall use in original spot,piled and in other place.By the development degrees of theoretical, accessible and realistic potential of rainfall resource availability,we can evaluate the development situation of rainfall resource.On the basis of above,the paper select the typical region of Mudu river basin to be representative,analyzes the ecological land use structure and rainfall in this region,and estimates its potentials of rainfall resource availability initially.Recognizing that Mudu river basin has immense potential of rainfall resource availability,but actual development degree is very low,so we need enhance its potential by various technology of rainfall resource availability.The paper brings forward the promotional technology and approach of rainfall resource availability potential.(3)By summing up the people's experiences of fighting drought in Kast mountain region and the latest agriculture engineering technology,relying on advancement of agriculture science and technology,integrating the three use modes of rainfall resource availability, the paper puts forward technology system of rainfall resource availability mode in Mudu river basin.When we practice concrete technology measure,we should attach important to the fundamental improvement of ecology and environment in Kast mountain region and the collective distribution of agriculture production for constructing agriculture production configuration of benign material cycle,which includes forest and grass culture,capital construction of farmland,start construction of small irrigation works,arranging crops and:farming measure rationally,and so on. Integrating operation,we can farthest use natural rainfall to improve rainfall productivityFinally,the paper discusses the problems about rainfall resource availability.
