Switched reluctance driver with simple and durable structure, low-cost,plentiful controllable parameters,flexible control and available necessary mechanical properties,has the advantages of both AC and DC speed control system.Therefore,the study on switched reluctance motor demonstrates the potential applications in industrial,automation,home appliances and other high-tech areas,and has important practical significance for enhancement of the economic strength of our country.The rotor position information in SRD is essential in detaining the switching instants for proper control of speed.So rotor-position estimation is a necessary for a SRD to run properly.Traditional detection methods have increased the complexity and reliability of switched reluctance drive system.At the same time,switched reluctance drive system is a very strong real-time and has a large volume of calculation. The real-time conflicts have become more prominent in the high-speed and ultra high-speed operation.Supported by national natural science foundation,this paper studied on Fuzzy-PID control system without position sensor for switched reluctance motor based on FPGA.This paper first discusses the basic switched reluctance motor operating principle,including the switched reluctance motor's basic structure,the mathematical model and control strategy.Secondly,in the analysis of the principle and realization to the location detection method with sensors,introduces a new sensorless detection method—maximum flux method.Also designs the relevant modules and their hardware implementation in the FPGA.The experimental results verify the feasibility of the method.Thirdly,the speed controller with the core of Fuzzy PID algorithm is designed applying the MATLAB and DSP Builder-based DSP design methodology.Finally,build the digital system without position sensor of the switched reluctance motor in the CycloneⅡFPGA.Digital system without position sensor for SRM based on SOPC, which simplify the hardware circuit design and improved the real-time and reliability of the system,provides a reliable hardware platform for SRD.
