With the improvement of industrial level,customers become stricter with the power quality.The reactive load,especially the impulsive reactive load,not only increases power loss,but also deteriorates the power quality of customers seriously,so immediate reactive power compensation is a powerful means of optimizing power flow on transmission networks as well as enhancing power quality.The circuit diagram and work principle as well as its applications of STATCOM are introduced in detail in this paper.Two control strategies of STATCOM are discussed which includes direct-current control and indirect-current control.Fuzzy-PI control method of STATCOM is also put forward to improve the dynamic performance as well.Combining dynamic characteristics of Fuzzy-Control with respond speed of PI-Control,STATCOM system not only has fast response,but also has satisfied control precision.Then methods can be realized easily by digital control.At the same time,the application in transient-steability of the power system of the STATCOM based on fuzzy control is put forward in this paper.According to Fuzzy-PI control strategies,we model the emulate system architectures by MATLAB software.The regulative quality and dynamic quality of STATCOM are analyzed from the waveforms of some electric variables。This paper designs a digital control system of TMS320F2812 digital signal processor.Set up a set of STATCOM experimental platform of 10k Var/380V,complete the design and debug of system main circuit and control circuit,and finish the foundational functions of STATCOM experimental platform.The emulation and test results certify the good reactive compensation performance of the equipment,and indicate the validity. |
