Application Study Of Relay Protection Fault Information System Based On IEC 61850

IEC 61850 "communication networks and systems in substation" has been deeply analyzed and studied,combining with the characteristic of electrical grid network relay protection equipment fault information system,this paper proposes a relay protection fault information system based on IEC 61850.Its main work was done as below:This paper introduces IEC 61850 modeling principle,information model and communication principle,presents substation configure language(SCL) based on XML technical and corresponding application method,discusses the information model and mapping method from ACSI to MMS,completes information model using the circuit breaker as logical node,proposes function demand of the master station system and the sub-station system in fault information system based on IEC 61850 and the methods which realized function.In order to verify the system,the simulation based on Windows,VC++6.0 and the PowerPC development board realizes the function of master station and sub-station system in the fault information system,it has fundamentally realized functional model of relay protection fault information system based on the IEC 61850.
