The regional interconnection of power system in improving the reliability of electric power system operation and also brought new problems,Among them,the low frequency oscillation phenomenon is particularly common.It is necessary for power system damping characteristics research.In this paper,the data mining technology has been used in signal stability analysis,the small signal stability mining model has been Constructed.By changing the system operating modes and control parameters,I have got a number of small signal stability mining data sets,proposed the model of feature selection and data sampling strategy,improved the practicality of the model,constructed decision tree model of small signal stability and rules model,has achieved initial success.In addition,the paper have analyzed the small signal stability data source visualization,mining process visualization and mining results visualization through the visualization technology,enhance the understanding of data mining.
