Speed Control Of Switched Reluctance Motor By FVSC System

Since the 1950s,variable structure control (VSC) is well known for its robustness relative to system parameter variations and external disturbances.VSC has been widely used in many applications. In recent years,with the development of computer technology in the field of industrial automation and the actual needs, VSC algorithm has been put into practice, such as motor control and power systems, robotic control, aircraft control, satellite altitude control, etc.A new kind of Switched Reluctance Motor Drive System (SRD) has been developed in 1980s. It is kind of mechatronics, which is based on the modern power electronic and control technique. The SRM has many advantages such as high efficiency, energy-saving, wide speed regulating scope, with its soft starting, small impulse current, high Starting Torque, flexible control, etc. It has the better performance than the traditional AC Motor and DC Motor.Firstly,in this dissertation,a detailed analysis of the history, current situation and existing problems of the study on variable structure and arriving at notions and accounting for the existence condition and stabilization of VSC'.Secondly,the related basic structure and fundamental principles of SRD are proposed. The operation of SRM has been descried in detail and a non-linear model of SRM has been established.Two weak chattering problem integral controllers and the weighted controller design are advanced. The author has made use of the advantage of slid-mode strong robust. Two controller design methods have been given. And each program is given a number of cases of simulation. The simulation results show that the proposal is feasible and effective.
