Different class road duly perform its duty.Only so can the smooth of traffic be ensured. To improve the security of trip, HraiseH theHutilization rateH of land and improve the efficiency of road HcapacityH, the automotive vehiclesand pedestrians should be observant of the traffic rules.With the sustainable and rapid HdevelopmentH of china economy, the process ofurbanization is accelerated. Hnot onlyH along the service oriented road Hbut alsoH the arterialroad leading to transportation, more and more service HfacilitiesH were established, chiefamong which were commercial HfacilitiesH. To pedestrians to pass the intersectionHconvenientHly, lots of pedestrian crossings were in street. But, things went crisscross. A lotof pedestrians passed the driveway form the pedestrian crossings, and traffic conflicts oftenhappen between pedestrians HandH vehicles, which is seriously impaired traffic safety anddisturbed the normal traffic order. When HquantityH of pedestrians and vehicles is not large,the effect is limited, but, when the quantity is big enough, it is hard to HensureH the security oftrip and the efficiency of road HcapacityH.To balance the security HandH HefficiencyH well, the most HeconomicalH and powerfulmethod is setting HrationalH pedestrian's traffic control signal to guide the pedestrians crossthe street,that can order the trip of pedestrians and vehicles and reduce traffic conflicts.America,Germany and Japan are the earliest initiator of the study of the way of settingpedestrian's traffic control signal in the world. Based on Statistics and analysis ofsubstantial survey data,uses well-developed HtheoriesH to study the way of settingpedestrian's traffic control signal that satisfied the need of its national situation. In ourcountry, we also have the HbasisH of setting pedestrian's traffic control signal. But, with thedevelopment of HurbanH transport HsystemH, the current HprincipleH doesn't do well. The paper mainlystudies the principle of setting pedestrian's traffic control signal, fitting arterial road andbranch, in our country, And build different delay HmodelH for the arterial road and branch.Based on the comparison of pedestrian delay,Tolerance limits of the pedestrian,before thesetting pedestrian's traffic control signal and after,get the different critical traffic flowcurves in arterial road and branch.There are five chapters in this dissertation:Chapter 1: Introduced the background of establishing basis of pedestrian's trafficcontrol signal. the paper describes the current research situation in HthisH space,in the world. And Hputted forwardH the Hoverall thoughtH and new method, which gave HbasicH ideas to thelater HresearchH about the setting way of pedestrian's traffic control signal.Chapter 2: analyzed the characteristics of pedestrian and vehicle under HdifferentHconditions. Considering the security HandH HefficiencyH, proposed the different principles ofpedestrian's traffic control signal under the conditions of arterial road and branch. It is thebasis theory of the whole study in this paper.Chapter 3: gave out the detailed HdescriptionH on the act of crossing traffic flow, andproposed the setting principle based on the tolerance limits of the pedestrian. According asvehicles pass first, build the pedestrian delay modal. Through HcontrastHing and HAnalysHing onthe delay and the tolerance time of pedestrian, HacquireHd the HcriticalH flowrate curve ofpedestrian's traffic control signal under the conditions of arterial road.Chapter 4: explains the traffic rule under the condition of branch,and put forward theidea of HcoefficientH and HconversionH between pedestrian and vehicle,and build HcorrelativeHHModelH. Based on this, using Hmobile platoon theoryH calculated the vehicle delay before thepedestrian crossing after setting the pedestrian's traffic control signal, and HcontrastH it withthe delay before setting the pedestrian's traffic control signal,and gained the HestablishingbasisH of setting the pedestrian's traffic control signalChapter 5: A summation was made to generalize the work in this paper,and promisingresearch directions of setting the pedestrian's traffic control signal were predicted. |
