Tianjin Cihai Bridge is the first bridge built with a giant wheel. Cihai Bridge has a new bridge structure. Its state of force is very complicated. What's more, many vistors will stay a long time with commercial space and walk streets underneath. Since the safety and comfort of the tourist crowd is very important, Analysis of the comprehensive static and dynamic response of the bridge structure should be carried out.In this paper, the finite element model of main truss of CiHai Bridge in software ANSYS is established to analyse the static and dynamic performance characteristics of the bridge. Dynamic response time histories of the bridge encouraged by various vibration source such as wind load, vechicles load, crowd loads, activation system load and their combination are obtained. Based on already vibration standards related research results at home and abroad, the Cihai Bridge vibration standards is determinated. The safety and comfort of the lower deck is also verified through comparing the numerical results with related vibration standard. According to the character of the area and related design code, sismic reaction and response spectrum analysis is proceeded to examine the safety of bridge.
