Diabetes is a vulgar malady of chronic system-metabolism, its incidence is high and it has been the second killer that only inferior to cancer all over the world. So the demand for a fast, exact, real time measurement of glucose is more and more urgently. So far, the detect of glucose is mostly adopt the invasive method that using pin stab to get blood. It not only brings body's hurt to the patients, and also can not measure frequently. The technology of non-invasive detection based on picking-up optical information has problem on accuracy and stability. But miro-invasive detection supply a gap on accuracy and stability, and simultaneously, ease the hurt for patients greatly. The glucose in blood is delivered to the cells of each human tissue by the interstitial fluid, so the concentration of the glucose in interstitial fluid truly reflects the concentration of glucose in each tissue cell of the body. According to the principle of Surface Plasmon Resonance, a micro-invasive glucose measure system based on SPR biological sensor was designed, The system adopted the structure of host-slave, the slave singlechip used its 16 bit ADC and DMA controller to acquire the data from SPR, and displayed the correlative information on the LCD at the same time; the host singlechip controlled vacuum pump, stepper motor to extract interstitial fluid by vaccum, and used relevant arithmetic to process the SPR data and got the concentration of glucose. In terms of software, in order to ensure the real time, reliability of the program execution and improve the executing efficiency of program, the modularized design of embedded real time operating system was adopted. The system not only measured the concentration of glucose exactly, but also had the functions of clock display, saving and viewing the records of measurement. Because the system measured the concentration of glucose by using vacuum to extract interstitial fluid, the hurt to the patients can be reduced to least, so that the glucose can be measured more frequently, and provided the diabetes patients with glucose information in time so as to take measures to control the concentration of glucose. At last, the experiments of measuring the concentration of glucose solution and of glucose in the interstitial fluid were designed. According to study of the results, the influence of the accuracy of measurement results by bonding protein can be analyzed. The success of the system design and the results of preliminary experiments would lay the foundation for further clinical application.
