The gyroscope power supply is one of the important components of gyroscope, the quality of their performance will largely affect the performance of gyroscopes quality.Due to the instability of the gyro motor, it will cause measurement error when the gyro is working. So researchs on this kind of power supply have high practical value.The DT4 asynchronous motor is used in the automatic gyroscope system developing in the laboratory whose voltage is AC 36V, and the frequency is 400Hz. To fulfill its need, a high-precision power inverter system is designed with constant 3-phase sinusoidal AC output by SPWM technology.The principle of power inverter is introduced, then an appropriate sampling programme is choosed after analyzing the rules and the characteristics of the generation of SPWM wave, and a detailed analysis is made to the algorithm.In this paper, the principle and structure of the hardware system is presented detailly. The selection and the function implementation of the control chips,inverter module are focused on. A comprehensive fault detection and processing circuit is designed, and the reliability of the system is improved. The notch filter combined with a low pass filter is used in the filter circuit, which effectively reduces the harmonic components of the output waveform.The software part are compiled in C language, which accomplish the completion the operational control of the sample, the generation of SPWM control wave, fault detection and treatment, and A/D sampling.Debugging of the whole system has been done, detail results are given after making a lot of experiments to the functions and performance of the sample. The experiment results show that each functioning module of the sample can work mormally, the stability of output voltage is≤0.28%, the stability of output frequency is≤0.2%, which fulfill all the demands. Finally the paper gives methods and measures to improve the system in the future.
