In these years, inadequate bearing capacity , ageing and damage of the old bridge have been caused worldwide concern. Both quality evaluation and durability evaluation of the concrete-filled steel tubular arch bridge have become the research focus of bridge engineerings . This paper summarizes research situation, then does further study. The main study elements are as follows:(1) on the base of comprehensive study of the research background and analysis the necessity, This paper introducted research progress of evaluation method and main evaluation methods.(2) A comprehensive and systematic analysis of the impacting factors on the quality and durability of the concrete-filled steel tubular arch bridge. It can be summarized in the following categories: Piers and the foundation ;arch; boom; Tied; beam; other parts.(3) The least squares method of AHP is used in bridge durability assessment and prediction model, which is based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. The model has the advantage of AHP, but also overcome the the inadequacy of traditional AHP. The least squares method can avoid the "consistency test" and can rapidly, simply obtain evaluation index weights. The right of least squares method is not only expanding the application scope of AHP, but also provide a sort of a simple and efficient method to determine weight.(4) which is based on the extension AHP,This paper established a new model . The model is first used for the evaluation of the bridges quality on the basis of fully considering the impacting factors.(5)These two models are used for the same examples and get the same results ,which is the same as results of qualitative analysis and scene investigation. So the practicality of the two methods are verified.
