For a long time in the electrical and mechanical servo system between structure and control system design is the separated. This design model make the structure and the control designers consider and resolve the problems in their respective professional fields, as matter of fact there are some mutual influences between the two , and has been confirmed by numerous examples. In order to improve the performance of the entire system, the structure and control design must be synthesized in some way together.This thesis first introduce the present commonly used several kind of structure and the control integration design concepts then summarizes the research on structure and control integration design of domestic and foreign electro-mechanical systems; Next take the typical three-inertia Electrical position servo system as the research object, according to the system physical law set up a dynamic model of servo system.And then set up a sequential optimization model and an integrated optimization model.Finally using sequential quadratic programming algorithm and genetic algorithm to solve the optimal design model. Simulation results show that :compared with the sequential optimization ,the integrated optimization obviously enhance system's stability and fast responsiveness.
