The development process of bearing testing platform was introduced to develop a large testing platform which could simulate the running conditions for bearings to detect their properties.The collectivity precept of bearing testing platform was designed in the paper according to awful running conditions of bearings (loaded and accelerated in a very short while). The testing platform had been divided to two parts: the accelerating unit and the loading unit in the paper, and they had been designed and optimized in details respectively. The choice of all product-finished, for example electromagnetic clutches, detents and reducer, were specified. The three dimensional models of testing platform had been finished according to actual dimension of every part, and mechanical structure of some key parts and their solid pictures were showed detailedly. The dynamic stress analysis of key parts had also carried out by means of LS-DYNA program.Control system of the testing platform was introduced, the control system included the control box, driving boxes and peripheral sensors, and which were all accomplished. The control program had been realized on LabVIEW platform. Some charts showed the principle of control system.Debugging works were finished successfully, and collected a lot of experiment data. The problems and the solutions of debugging and experiments were summarized.
