Quality of drinking water is directly related to people's lives and health, and it is the most important core security issue in the urban public safety system. In recent years, natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, droughts, or health emergencies that affecting urban water supply are frequent, they seriously affected people's normal life and production, and resulted in an impact on society formidablly. This task is based on researching the present water purifier for drinking water fully, and the new idea about how to treat micro-polluted raw water by electrocoagulation-contact filtration has been put forward for the water supply accidents caused by natural disasters or health emergencies as well as the safety of drinking water of field workers.The effect that uses electrocoagulation to treat micro-polluted raw water has been researched through experiments. Though the static experiments, we can see that the main factors of electrcoagulation include: electrolytic time, voltaic intensity, sedimentation time and pH. The optimal parameters for treatment technics have been find out on the base of the static experiments, they are: The optimal electrolytic time is 30min; the optimal voltaic intensity is 3A; the optimal sedimentation time is 15min and the optimal pH is between 7 and 8. The electrocoagulation treatment technics and the contact filtration treatment technics have been integrated on the groundwork. The thesis analyses the use of this united technics in micro-polluted raw water treatment, the effluent water quality and the application analysis of the technics.The handling capacity of the device was designed as 100L/h. In this operating and test conditions, the average bacteria was 86 cfu/ml, the proportion of removal was 94.4%; the average turbidity of effluent was 0.32NTU, the proportion of removal was 98.7%; the average CODMn of effluent was 2.08mg/L, the proportion of removal was 46.3%; the average NH4+-N of was 0.43mg/L, the proportion of removal was 64.1%. The effluent water examined by the apparatus reached the national drinking water standards. It has practical significance to protect the safety of drinking water when the emergencies happen as well as the safety of drinking water of field workers.The theories of the contaminations removed by electrocoagulation are oxygenation-deoxidize, electrocoagulation and electrofloatation.The electrocoagulation device has possessed of the advantages which are compact structure, convenient oam and preferable treatment effect and so on. But its disadvantage is better high cost of running. The cost of running mainly includes the cost of electricity and the cost of material. The cost of electricity accounts for better high proportion in the total cost of running of the device, sometimes it reaches to 50% upwards. The thesis analyses the relation between the energy consumption of electrocoagulation and various factors theoretically, and the measures to save energy has been put forward. This has practical significance to reduce the cost of electrocoagulation. The correlative questions of electrocoagulation-contact filtration united technics have been analysed and discussed.
