Reverse Engineering is a process of gaining digital model from prototype. It has widely application in cover panel,appliance wiring and mobile telephone. Presently there are two ways in research of RE, one is system integration; the other one is research on key technologies of RE. The thesis will focus on surface model reconstruction research and resolve the problems of surface rebuilding, surface connecting, precision control and so on. It has very important theoretical meaning and practical value.Firstly, this thesis refers to arithmetic of curves and surfaces fitting, focusing on Bezier surface fitting and NURBS surface fitting; Secondly, it will emphasis on technology of curves and surfaces reconstruction. A new method is put forward based on edge curves or character curves. It can construct the character curves based on point cloud data and the crossline of two surfaces, and then, it can construct or connect surfaces based on frameworks. Finally the surface model is accomplished.The other research one is CAD model reconstruction. The traditional method use serial way which causes the all taches of construction isolated and repetitive. The thesis refers to parallel design which was applied to the every tache of model construction. After the surface model reconstruction, it also need to consider the cooperation of cover panels, intervention, the cooperation between cover panel and framework and so on.The design of the cover panels based on RE includes the effect chart design, the construction of clay model, the surfaces reconstruction, the CAD model rebuilding, data validation and so on. It can resolve the problem of surface fitting and connecting based on edge future curves. It also can solve the problem of the intervention and clearance of model construction based on parallel design. and acquire better effect. |
