Design And Implementation Of Intelligent Fire Automatic Alarm System

Nowadays, networks and automatism technology are more and more perfect in the fire automatic alarm systems. But the fire detectors still have problems about false alarm and miss alarm. The veracity of the detectors will affect the capability of the whole alarm system. So the fire detection technology has been the main direction of this field.This paper discusses in detail the principles of fire detector circuit design. In the hardware design, it completed sensor data acquisition, implementation of fire alarm, failure alarm, and other functions. The paper discusses the design of anti-interference capabilities of the system, reliability design, security design, and maintenance design. Software design includes design of fire detector and local alarm controller. The paper gives the software block diagram and the programming flow charts of each part. The paper completed the software design of PCF8583, communications between the detectors and host computer, and the software design of watchdog function. In the algorithm design, while Neural Networks has learning and association ability, recognition open flame and smoldering fire and achieves their probability. It offers the direct criteria of fire for decision-making layer.On fire decision-making output, it uses the fuzzy inference algorithm to inosculate open flame and smoldering fire probability, the duration, and Protection levels. According to the rules formulated by experts' experience, finally makes the decision-making output of the fire detection system. The result of simulation experiments indicates that the method can improve the performance of decision-making of fire detection system. This system has the features of intelligence and high reliability, but it has some part that need be improved. So paper finally prospects the future of intelligent fire alarm system, and puts forward some methods.
