Dynamic compaction, with its incomparable advantages in the world, is a cost-effective way of foundation treatment, and has been widely applied to deal with various foundation treatments since its naissance in 1968. Meanwhile, the theoretical and experimental researches of dynamic compaction are carried out progressively. But there is not mature and perfect theory or methodology up to now. As a result, the in-depth study on the design method and the foundation's reinforcement theory has the theoretical and practical significance on improving the application of dynamic compaction.At present, the most of theories of dynamic compaction is researched on the establishment of foundation soil's constitutive relation, because of the dynamic response of foundation soil belonging to the three-dimensional matter. in compacting process. The non-linear factors as well as plastic deformation and others must be taken into account in the analysis process of foundation soil's constitutive relation, resulting in that there are a number of assumptions and uncertain factors in the foundation soil's constitutive relation, which increase the difficulty of research on dynamic compaction and hinder the development in the much wider field in a certain extent.In this paper, the foundation soil model, using the construction site of dynamic compaction as the background of research in Fushun, based on the nonlinear software of LS-DYNA, is established to simulate the process of compaction. The parameters of foundation soil of the site, the dynamic response of the hammer and foundation soil and the process of monitoring are researched. Use the end stage of the dynamic construction as the object, and the parameters of foundation soil is determined; the hammer's acceleration curves, the settlement of the soil changed with time, and velocity field,displacement field and stress field of foundation soil body are obtained at any time. Make a comparison to the curses of measuring the hammer and the soil in order to get the regularity of the hammer and the foundation soil in the process of compaction.Through research, the result complicated by computer technology is obtained, which is difficult to get by theoretical calculation. The research of simulation provides valuable reference for the theory of dynamic compaction.
