Sloshing is a phenomenon commonly observed in liquid motions. It usually happens in a partially filled liquid tank in movement. Almost all kind of self-driving vehicles are mounted with liquid tanks. Some kind of ships especially built for transporting liquid cargos, of which containers or tankers are a major part. When a container ship is traveling in rough seas, the dynamic behavior of her liquid cabin, its structure and the internal fluid, usually greatly influences the safety of the entire ship.The traditional method of calculating the sloshing response in liquid tank are research on theory, experimentation, etc. which requires a profound comprehension on the theory of sloshing,and requires a series of complicated process of computation, so it can't adapt to the computations in engineering.The formulas in criterion are uesd in this article,so it is not such tedious, a program is compiled in the article, so some arduous work can be done automatically, and a APDL process will be given for the work of loading, calculating, getting the result in ANSYS. MATLAB is powerful in science computation, and ANSYS is universal used for FEA, both of which are used in this thesis. In order to simplify the design and research, such as referring to and translating the criterion, reorganizing the formula, solution, FEA, geting the result and plot. And the engineers will free from the arduous work more or less.The program was used in a sloshing tank project, under the work conditions of d F=1.0m~1.8m, AR =5°~20°, compared with the previous result, and found the reason why there was some discrepancy. Then drawed the response curve with stress, strain and rotation under 81 work conditions, and summarized the effect of draft and angle in the rolling to sloshing, then gave some advices. It can be a valuable reference to the similar problems.
