Adaptability Of Design About The Domicile Of Countryside In The Middle Part Of Shannxi

Dwelling is the most direct materialization of habitation, which is people's basic demand for production and living. As the peasants'standard of living meliorated increasingly, it is exigent to improve their living condition and create better habitation. With the promotion of the new rural construction policy, dwelling construction in the countryside has reached a new climax.But, at present, the actuality of countryside housing is worrying. In some underdeveloped areas, the habitation condition is so dissatisfying that the dwelling design cannot meet the basic need of people's daily life. At the same time, in many developed areas, because the peasants lack of the correct guidance on architecture design, they are only in pursuit of luxury building design. As a result, many domiciles which are gallant on the surface but uncouth in practice are built, which lead to a great waste of self money, land resources and natural resources of the country.Given the status quo of the residence construction in the rural areas, in answer to the new rural construction policy, the paper selected the middle part of Shannxi as the representative area to investigate. Through experiencing the rural life, the author obtained the first information on the actual need of the peasants'daily life, local conditions and customs. Studying on the information, the paper tried to form a principle for the adaptive design of the dwelling in the middle part of Shannxi, which the author hoped to be a good reference for the local peasants to build their own house in the future, thus it is the main purpose of this paper.First of all, the article elaborated the present situation of the countryside dwelling with the existing problems, and pointed out the fact that the construction of countryside dwelling urgently needs guidance. On this demand, This paper choose the middle part of Shannxi as the entry point of the research on the local dwelling construction of countryside.Secondly, based on the firsthand information about the traditional countryside dwelling characteristic and the living situation gained through the investigation, the article analyze the advantages and disadvantages of diversified functional space in the traditional farmhouse as well as the trends of the farmhouse construction in local areas. Also the article researched on the adaptive reconstruction of the middle part of Shannxi, thus indicated the direction of the construction development. In virtue of the study, it chose some representative cases to analyze their adaptive reconstruction.Finally, the article made clear that it is necessary for the architect to experience the rural life themselves in order to design dwelling, which is really suitable for the peasants. This is where the article aimed.
