| During FDM molding,The driving force of the wire feeding device has a great contribution to the molding speed,as well as the quality of products. Insufficient driving force will greatly limit the molding speed,the accuracy of product,and the material that can be chosen.Based on the study of several influencing factors to the driving force ,a few rules generalized, calculate formulas of different driving forces belong to different kinds of feeder,including common wheel,V-wheel,spring adjuster etc.had given out subsequently.Ways of different kinds of feeder do to the driving force has been analyzed meticulously. Advanced a feeder based on crawler belt. Other factors to driving force were analyzed too,such as the resistance pressure in the flow passage of the nozzle,the capability of electric engine,the speed and distance of polymer feeding,effect behavior has summing-up.A new highly active feeder designed after the research.The conceptual and content fully explained,the driving force has been studied and calculated particularly. Result shows that new feeder can supply a driving force more than four times compare to current feeder.beside that,new feeder make the pressure between the driving wheel and polymer controllable, reduced the inner friction of feeder.Three improvement done in practical application,including emboss the driving wheel,shortening the feeding distance,choosing electric engine which have higher reduction ratio and rated torque.Based on the compare and analysis on the performance between feeders improved and before,forecasted that the highly active feeder designed will increase molding speed,as well as the quality,and will have more chosen on material as well. |
