Along with the development of national economy, there were lots of dilapidations forms on the asphalt roads for the volume of traffic increases rapidly, the channeling running, and overloading seriously, etc.Tracking has got into amazing extent especially which is caused by over loading of vehicles in the condition of summer's high temperature,it's not only impact on surface roughness and performance, but also seriously endanger traffic safety. Therefore, asphalt pavement rutting has been a question that is worthy of in-depth studies. The thesis takes the total thickness track testing machine as a basic test equipment which is developed by Huazhong University of Science and Technology Road Laboratory, making total thickness track test on the mutual segment of Wu Huang freeway and the third annular urban road of Wuhan and the segment K27+400~K39+500 of Wu Huang freeway asphalt pavement adopts, advancing total thickness track test operation and technical points of order. the key factors (such as temperature, load levels, road thickness, static load and light-load,etc.) which affect the entire thickness of asphalt pavement rutting dynamic stability (DS) and rut depth (RD) have also been studied. The results in the article indicate that: using modified asphalt in middle layer can significantly increase DS and the ruting resistance ability of asphalt pavement for three-layer asphalt surface structure;vehicles of their own (static load) have great influence on asphalt pavement rutting;in the load 0.7MPa, static loads caused by the deformation of asphalt pavement rutting about 25% of the total deformation;the significance influence on DS and RD of the factors decreased according to the order: load leavel>temperature>road thickness;light vehicles(<30KN) which are ignored in asphalt pavement structure design are equivalent about 60% of the normal-load which impact on asphalt pavement rutting when the temperature is higher. The main conclusions are summarized and the further study's direction is anticipated at the end of the article.
