A Study Into Landscape Conservation And Renewal Of Landscape And Environment Of Abandoned Factory Architectrue

Nowadays, with the fast developing of the social economy, lots of ecology environmental problems have arisen. In addition, many industry architectures abandoned in the developing process of economy have been forgotten, which are not only the vision pollutions, but also pose some negative influence on the ecology environment. On this condition, we human beings gradually realize that it is imperative for us to reconstruct the abandoned industry workshops and to search for the coexistence of human, architectures and environment. As the designing style of Post Modernism calls in question to the"modern concept", the return of mass"Root Exploration"consciousness and the wide-ranging attention on"Spirit of Place"of environment make it more significant to research and apply the modern landscape designing techniques in the renovation of abandoned workshops.There are seven chapters in this thesis. In Chapterâ… , the background, purpose and the selection of research methods and objects are introduced. In Chapterâ…¡, we will introduce the history, process, and the present situation about the renovation of the abandoned industry workshops in internal and overseas. And in the Chapterâ…¢, by analyzing the case all over the world, we will conclude the ideology and method of the landscape design by analyzing the classic cases all over the world. In Chapterâ…£, we are going to sum up the mode of the landscape renovation of abandoned workshops. In Chapterâ…¤, we analyze the methods of landscape renovation in detail, and research the technology issues of the methods. And in Chapterâ…¥, we make deep researches together with some real cases, based on the discussion above; we analyze the history and present situation of the city of Zhongshan in Guangdong Province and the developing track and present of Yuezhong Shipyard and introduce the case of landscape renovation of Qijiang Park by Guangdong Zhongshan Qijiang Shipyard in detail. In this case, the designers make reasonable orientation for the landscape renovation of Zhongshan Qijiang Park on the basis of abundant field surveys: reconstruct the abandoned shipyard into an open park for citizen recreation and pastime; they put many industrial elements and natural symbols into the landscape designing, such as abandoned workshops, machines and weed, which make it harmonious with other landscape designing throughout the whole Zhongshan city. In the last chapter of this paper, we make landscape renovation for Wuhan Boiler Factory with the methods that we have concluded above.In this paper, we make particle research on applying the modern landscape designing methods into abandoned industrial workshops by the means of literature reading, field survey, case analysis and induction. As for the theoretical significance, this paper in some degree broadens the research space of landscape design theory, makes beneficial attempt on new developing direction of landscape designing and enrich the design research of integer; as for the practice significance, we hope it can offer some practical guidance for the present domestic landscape designing practice and provide some connections between designing theory and practice.
