From theory to practices, this thesis has done extensive research on the fundamental optimal design theory,sensitivity analysis and parameter design. Fragment this kind of adjustable linear oil damper on the basis of following the international research steps of oil dampers. The research work focuses on the following four main investigations:At first,given theory of Damping System Design for Adjustable Linear Oil Damper,by use of dynamic mathematical models and dynamic-parameter-compensating method, the first research of the fluid system of an adjustable linear oil damper; By use of the mathematical generalized optimization theory and platform, the first research has also made a multi-objective and overall-performance optimal design to the damping system which gives the damper both the best damping performances and the best economic capacities; By modeling the whole damper and analyzing it by numerical method, the second research of this item has solved the problem of the damper's dynamical damping characteristics calculation,simulation analysis.Theory of Parameter Design by Means of Sensitivity Analysis for Adjustable Linear Oil Damper. This item has done research on the theory and methods to design parameters of linear oil damper by modeling and sensitivity analyzing. This item focuses on two aspects: Research on the wear allowance,Research on the temperature sensitivity and thermal dispersion parameters design.Secondly, mapping two linear oil dampers and numerical analysis. By developing software for simulation and analysis, this item has done research work on the parameter influence between linear oil damper and the vertical dynamics of railway vehicles. On the subject of speed locomotive with a series of vertical and horizontal adjustable linear oil dampers mapping concluded. Thus, to the existing adjustable linear oil dampers design optimization and improvement.Finally, generalized use of optimal design theory and design parameters Optimization. Use of generalized theory of optimal design calculates for example linear oil dampers damping system, From the perspective of a number of parameters optimized,And the introduction of dynamic in the calculation of compensation parameters, Not only example of linear oil dampers access to the design of high precision and good damping properties, also the example of linear oil dampers has a good economic performance, Achieved its technical performance and economic performance of the integrated optimal design.
