| As a special type of architecture, hospital architecture is a complicated civil building form, which changes rapidly with the passage of time. Among the changing factors, medical model transformation ushers in the broadest and deepest influence on hospital buildings. More and more people are starting to realize the technical feature of the medical technical department as the core work area in a hospital. However, due to its specific features and limitations of space, its original function of serving the patients is often neglected; the humanistic need for it in the medical model transformation period is often ignored. The author firstly discussed the design features of medical technical department building (including its functional structure, space organizational form, and people flow features), which constrains its humanistic design, and then analyzed the different humanistic design needs in the usage of different parts of the department, taking people's (patient-centered, and taking medical staff into consideration) psychological need and behavior mode as the starting point. After that, by comparing specific cases of medical technical departments in the West and in China, the author pointed out the advantages and disadvantages in Chinese hospital design. At last, the author tentatively explored the design principles of humanistic medical environment suitable for different users in medical technical departments. The author hopes that this study could serve as references for medical technical department design in comprehensive hospitals. |
