Study On The Application Of Local Culture Of Fuzhou On The Environmental Art Design

Taking several construction projects that have gained good social and economic benefits in Fuzhou as examples, the paper made an analysis and demonstration of a hot issue in environmental art design: Under the background of current global economic integration, ideology and culture pluralism, the human being advances by leaps and bounds in the field of science and technology at an unprecedented pace, while the development of ideology and culture is comparatively backward, as an environmental art designer, how to play a part in cultural continuity? And an analysis is made of the concrete issues faced and method and principle for solving the problems.The paper made the discussion in seven chapters: First state the background, significance and purpose of the cooperation. Second, explain the key issue of this paper, including relevant concepts of local culture and environmental art design on the broad sense. Then, introduce the place studied in the paper: Fuzhou of Fujian, a historical cultural city of China that lies in the west bank of Taiwan Straits - - and the roughly evolution of history and culture and the characteristics in ancient building and garden. Next, taking the successful practice of domestic and international design circles in exploring the effect of local culture in environmental art projects as the case, the analysis and induction are made. Then, a proposal is put forward of the design philosophy of reflecting local culture in concrete environment design project. Then, a detailed explanation is made and the train of thought and method are illustrated based on the key research objects of this paper: Main building of Museum of Fujian Province that lies on the Yaojiaoyu of West Lake of Fuzhou - the provincial Art Museum, the landscape group of Gudie Setting Sun of West Lake and the indoor design of Yianju Tea House and other representative design projects that display local culture of Fuzhou. In the end a conclusion is made, i.e. designers should make great efforts to understand the humane psychology in people's thinking on the premise of further study on the local culture, and in combination with the modern and advanced science and technology to design good works loved by various circles of society.
