With the GPS system applying in all the civil aspect, public traffic can make use of this advanced technique to managing. Using GPS to achieve the management of the vehicle, established the electronic board in the bus stop, then the bus send data and the current location to the electronic bus stop board, which are received and showed by the electronic bus stop board., to make the passenger get the which stop of the vehicle which he will board is, and to determine the time h needs.Form the development summarization and developmental prospect of public transport management using GPS, the GPS electronic bus stop board is detailed introduced from every aspect such as the entire system design, detailed hardware design and software design. At the end of the paper, the feasibility of this technique and developmental foreground are introduced. The specific design is as follow:1. The vehicle load design: for this part, we design the device to receive the location data of the bus based GPS OEM board, based the SCM AT89C51, the SCM processes the inTabation from the satellite and send the corresponding data to bus stop through wireless emission module where at the same time the data showed by the nixie tube. So this system has four modules, such as GPS signal, central processing, data displaying and wireless emission.2. The platTab design: based the SCM AT89C51, SCM processes the received inTabation from the wireless data received device, then displays the inTabation by the nixie tube and the emitting LED. So the entire subsystem includes the receiving signals from the wireless received module, central processing and data displaying.This paper is written on the foundation of practice , is prepared with detailed soft, hardware information in appendix with bibliographical reference to let look up.
